What can you expect from riding with us...

LEARNING HORSE ETIQUETTE

Whether you are a dressage rider, a polo player, a reiner, a western rider etc.. showing good understanding of horse etiquette is important. This includes: showing respect for horses and riders, exhibiting proper horse behavior in the stable and at events, and following proper etiquette when riding in groups.

HORSEMANSHIP TRAINING

Horsemanship focuses on clear communication and positive reeinforcement. This approach promotes the horse's physical and emotional wellbeing, encouraging the horse to willingly participate in training and work with their human partner.

LESSON STRUCTURE

Riding lessons will be adapted to the children in each group level. Riders will get assigned a horse for each session, the horses will change every few weeks for each rider. Our objective is to provide opportunities for children to learn more, have fun and gain more confidence with their riding skills at every visit.

BENEFIT OF HORSE BACK RIDING

Learn about trust, non verbal communication, leadership, build confidence in yourself and discover a unique bond with horses. Horseback riding has many benefits, physically it's also a great outdoor work out for all riders!!

ABOUT YOUR COACH

Ninon coaches english and western riding for beginner, intermediate and experienced rider. Ninon learnt how to ride following the traditional french horseback riding method (emphasizes harmonious relations between humans and horses). She competed in dressage and pro Jumping in France for several years with her gelding Urbis a KWPN. Ninon worked in several ranches as a wrangler in BC, then guided for her own trail ride business in the 108 mile ranch before creating the Flying Rooster Riding center.

ABOUT YOUR HORSE TRAINER

Jesse has over 20 years of experience in the equine industry. As a teenager he worked off his first team of percherons and trained them himself to work in the logging industry back in Ontario, he worked for several years as a horse trainer strarting young horses for the racing industry, and also rode many broncs in rodeos! Jesse is very attached to the Monty Roberts training method that he has been studying for years. This technique is a non violent method focused on leadership and communication. Jesse started Field of Dreams Horse training for monthly training or drop by training in the south Cariboo,
