Dear Parents & Caregivers,
Welcome to the Flying Rooster Farm Horse Club. We are so happy to have your child joining us!
Horse Club is not a traditional riding lesson program. While riding may be included at times, the primary focus is on learning through horses—developing confidence, responsibility, emotional awareness, and safe horsemanship skills in a calm, supportive environment.
Each session is thoughtfully structured to help children feel regulated, capable, and connected. Consistency and routine are key to both child and horse well-being, and we follow a similar flow each week to create a sense of safety and belonging.
Small group learning
Horse care and groundwork
Optional riding when appropriate
Life skills discussions and reflection
Emphasis on safety, respect, and emotional regulation
Safety First
Safety is our top priority. All participants are expected to follow instructions, respect boundaries, and treat horses and people with care. If a child is having a challenging day, we work with them supportively, but unsafe behaviour may require a break from horse interaction.
Consistency Matters
Horse Club works best when children attend regularly. Skills, confidence, and trust grow over time. For this reason, Horse Club is offered as a monthly commitment rather than drop-in sessions.
Weather & Clothing
Sessions run in most weather conditions. Please ensure your child arrives dressed appropriately for the season, with closed-toe footwear and layers.
Parent Presence
To support independence and focus, Horse Club is a drop-off program unless otherwise arranged.
Communication
We are always happy to answer questions.
At Flying Rooster Farm, we believe horses are powerful teachers. Through calm interaction, responsibility, and reflection, children learn skills that extend far beyond the barn.
Thank you for trusting us with your child.
Warmly,
Ninon Chiberches
